Roundtable Discussion on the Health Implications of Japan's "Triple Disaster"

Nearly four months ago, the March 11th Great East Japan Earthquake rocked Japan, destroying lives and infrastructure, and triggering a devastating tsunami and nuclear reactor crisis.

Please join us Thursday, July 14, as prominent Japanese experts reflect on the aftermath of the triple disasters and discuss Japan’s options for reconstructing and reforming essential public health services and managing the long term radiation impacts.

Opening remarks will be provided by the Japanese ambassador to the United States, Ambassador Ichiro Fujisaki, and Michael Green, CSIS Senior Adviser and Japan Chair. J. Stephen Morrison, Senior Vice President and Director of the CSIS Global Health Policy Center, will moderate the event.
