Statesmen's Forum with Vaira Vike-Freiberga, President of Latvia

Latvia is scheduled to host the summit of the NATO military alliance at the end of 2006. The summit will focus on how to modernize an alliance that has struggled to maintain an identity since the end of the Cold War. President Vike-Freiberga presented some insights on this agenda, and she discussed other timely issues confronting the alliance, Europe, and the United States.
