A Strategic Approach to Malaria

December 8, 2014 • 8:45 am – 3:30 pm EST

On December 8, the CSIS Global Health Policy Center hosts a major day-long conference on the future of global malaria efforts.  It opens with a high-level deliberation over the strategic long-term goal of elimination, highlighting the political, financial, and institutional requisites.  It features expert roundtables on drug and insecticide resistance, future technologies (vaccines, therapies, diagnostics), and financing. There is a special focus on civilian-military cooperation in the Mekong Subregion.  On that day, CSIS releases five commissioned policy analyses.
