Ten Years in NATO; Twelve Years in Afghanistan

Please join us for a timely session with Minister Reinsalu as he discusses Estonia's defense priorities and its military modernization plans ahead of the September 2014 NATO Summit.  As one of the few NATO members that contributes 2% of its GDP to defense spending and enhanced capabilities, Minister Reinsalu will share his thoughts on NATO's Steadfast Jazz regional exercise as well as NATO's annual cyber defense exercise, Cyber Coalition 2013, which was recently held in Estonia.  Finally, the Minister will discuss the future of Nordic-Baltic defense cooperation and address specific security challenges this dynamic region will face in the future.
