July 24, 2012 • 5:30 – 6:30 pm EDT

Part of the Emerging Indian Economy Signature Speaker Series with Dr. Prathap Reddy

Of all the challenges India faces in the course of modernizing for the 21st century, health care is one of the most daunting, yet offers some of the most promising growth and innovation opportunities. With India intending to increase health care spending to 2.5% of its GDP in its 12th Plan, the CSIS Wadhwani Chair in conjunction with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) would like to take this opportunity to discuss the prospects of effectively expanding access to quality health care in India, as well as the role that the United States and India can play in each others’ health care systems.

Please join us in a discussion on the future of the U.S. and Indian health care systems with Dr. Prathap Reddy, Chairman of the Apollo Hospitals Group.
