U.S.-Japan Strategic Dialogue

  • Monday - Tuesday, Feb 9 - 10, 2009

  • This meeting will bring together a small, select group of Japanese and U.S. experts and officials in their personal capacities to share perspectives on pressing strategic problems and their impact on the U.S.-Japan alliance. We hope to identify areas of concern, possible misunderstandings, and practical steps for more effective bilateral cooperation. This meeting follows up on previous discussion we held last year and will explore in more depth vital questions for the future of our alliance.
