Global Trends and Forecasting

American universities are experiencing an unprecedented surge in global health programs. Students and faculty alike have become actively engaged in operational research, project analysis, workforce training, and increasing policy debates. Universities are organizing themselves and developing a global health vision through the newly launched Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH).

On July 28, 2009, the CSIS Global Water Futures Project joined Jim Thebaut of the Chronicles Group and numerous congressional, non-profit, public, and private sector partners to host a major water policy event in the Capitol Visitor Center.
