 <description>&lt;p&gt;Four months after the Tohoku&amp;nbsp; region in Japan was struck by the triple disasters (earthquake, tsunami, and radiation leakage) of March 11, the Japanese government finally disclosed the overall reconstruction plan to the public on July 29. Total reconstruction costs were estimated at &amp;yen;23 trillion ($288 billion ) including &amp;yen;10 trillion ($125 billion) for issuing recovery bonds.&lt;/p&gt;
