  • Dragos Seuleanu is vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania and president of the Foundation for Democracy, Culture and Liberty. He has also established a public relations company called Effective Management Solutions. Mr. Seuleanu is an expert on ethnic politics, governance, business, IT&C, and regional security. He is the former director general of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation (ROR), where he served as CEO, secretary general, human resources director, and deputy director for programming during a 15-year career. He was also an active radio journalist at ROR and covered the Republican and Democratic conventions during the 2000 and 2004 elections. Mr. Seuleanu is a member of the International Press Institute (based in Vienna), a founding member of the Romanian Chapter of Transparency International, and an honorary member of the Foundation of the Romanian Gendarmerie Magazine. The Delegation of the European Commission in Romania awarded him the Young European for 1994 prize, and the Romanian president awarded him a medal for “Faithful Service” in the rank of cavalier. He is an elected member of the board of the European Broadcasting Union and a founding member of the Romanian Association of Public Relations Professionals. He served as honorary adviser of the Romanian Ministry of the Interior in 2000 and was elected honorary member of the Romanian Academy of Scientists and vice chairman of the Forum of the Information Society (Romanian Academy). Mr. Seuleanu holds a B.A. in economics from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania, and an executive M.B.A. from the University of Washington at Seattle. He is currently seeking a Ph.D. at the Academy of Economic Studies.
