The Development Centre brings together government, business, and civil society voices to develop innovative and cross-cutting solutions to global development challenges. Mr. Pezzini will discuss the development implications of the Development Centre's work around "Shifting Wealth," the idea that the center of global economic activity has shifted from the North-West to the South-East.

Mario Pezzini has served as the Director of the OECD Development Centre since 2010. Prior to this position, Mr. Pezzini held several senior positions at the OECD, including Deputy Director of the Public Governance and Territorial Development Directorate and Head of the Regional Policy Division.
