The CSIS Global Health Policy Center hosted Dr. Seth Berkley, President, CEO and Founder of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) as part of our ongoing speaker series. Dr. Berkley provided an update on efforts to develop an AIDS vaccine, and spoke to how investments in science and technology research create the foundation for sustainable, functioning health systems in partner developing countries.
