Andrew C. Taylor Joins CSIS Board of Trustees

WASHINGTON, December 10, 2015 – The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is pleased to announce that Andrew C.Taylor, Executive Chairman of Enterprise Holdings, has joined the CSIS Board of Trustees.

“We’re privileged to have an exceptional global business leader of Andy’s caliber join CSIS,” said Tom Pritzker, CSIS Board of Trustees Chairman. “The challenges America faces today call for a combined effort from both public and private sectors, and Andy will be an immense help as the Center strives for solutions.”

In 1976, Taylor became the General Manager of Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s St. Louis regional operations, and was promoted in 1980 to President and Chief Operating Officer. Taylor became Chief Executive Officer in 1991 and Chairman in 2001. In June 2013, he transitioned to the position of Executive Chairman.

Taylor serves as Trustee of Washington University in St. Louis; Trustee for the Naval Aviation History Foundation; Life Trustee of the Missouri Botanical Garden; and Director of Commerce Bancshares. He also is a former member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater St. Louis. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver.
