CSIS Ranked #1 in Defense and International Security for 5th Consecutive Year

Dear Colleagues:

I’m pleased to report that for the fifth consecutive year, the University of Pennsylvania has ranked CSIS the #1 Defense and International Security Think Tank.

Some additional highlights from UPenn’s rankings: In the category of “Top Think Tank,” CSIS is #3 in the United States and #4 globally.

Also, CSIS is ranked among the top 10 in the following subcategories: foreign policy, global health policy, international development, and energy policy.

Finally, it is with great pride that I share with you that CSIS ranked #1 in “Think Tanks with the Best External Relations/Public Engagement Program,” #1 in “Think Tanks with the Best Use of the Internet,” and #1 in “Best Use of Media (Print or Electronic).” This would not have been possible without the fantastic team that I am fortunate enough to work with every day.
