Is the GAVI Alliance a Smart Investment?

WASHINGTON, June 23, 2011 – The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) Global Health Policy Center hosts a discussion with Amie Batson, USAID deputy assistant administrator for global health; Joelle Tanguy, managing director of external relations for GAVI; Nicole Bates, senior program officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; and Claire Moran, Development Counselor at the British Embassy, at CSIS on June 27, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The discussion will focus on the challenges ahead for maintaining momentum and expanding vaccine coverage following a record $4.3 billion in pledges to the GAVI Alliance earlier this month in London.
