The CSIS Americas Program analyzes the Western Hemisphere from a global perspective, working with policymakers in the United States, the Americas and the world to examine the region with fresh insights, bringing greater awareness to its place as a first-tier foreign policy issue.
Given the changing dynamics of the Western Hemisphere and the its place in the world, the CSIS Americas Program provides a real-world view of the region. By maintaining links with relevant branches of the U.S. government and its hemispheric and global counterparts, as well as the private sector, media, academia, and civil society, the Program works to inform these actors of the region’s evolving realities. The Americas Program provides a user-friendly forum for understanding the region today and predicting where it will go moving forward.
