The Seven Futures Project, the first outgrowth of the Seven Revolutions Initiative, assesses the “alternate futures” of seven key regions of the world out to the year 2025.

The SEVEN FUTURES project, the first outgrowth of the Seven Revolutions initiative, assesses the outlines of the world in the year 2025 by examining the “alternate futures” of seven key regions of the world. It zooms in on specific policy challenges raised by global strategic trends, ranging from demographic change to the allocation of scarce resources to different systems of governance. The seven regions the project explores are:

Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Russia and Eurasia, South Asia, East and Southeast Asia.

By looking at broader regional trends and identifying specific countries driving regional and global change, Seven Futures provides an expert “bird’s-eye-view” of tomorrow’s challenges. The purpose of this project is to prepare current and future leaders across the world to confront these issues by helping them create and carry out policies today that take into account longer-range circumstances and consequences.
