  • Conducted Workshops in the U.S. , Latin America, Africa, and Asia to better understand the need for research and to compare the governance problems of various countries;
     
  • Identified and disseminated the best governance practices of business and government;
     
  • Conducted forums on such diverse subjects as Illicit Financial Flows (in Washington), Qur’anic Guidance for Good Governance (in Washington); Risk Management in the Supply Chain of Health Commodities (in Nairobi); Governance Problems in State-owned Enterprises, Campaign Finance, Local and Central Governments, and Business (in Jakarta);
     
  • Worked with Civil Society organizations to develop reform programs in Moscow, Indonesia , and Kenya;
     
  • Focused in particular on the corruption problems associated with municipalities;
     
  • Conducted in depth studies of the Governance problems of certain severely troubled emerging countries;  and
     
  • Worked regularly with the World Bank Institute, the World Bank and the Millennium Challenge Corporation in their efforts to reduce corruption.
