Emerging Leaders Program
Pacific Forum CSIS operates several emerging leaders programs to provide motivated young individuals with the opportunity to meet internationally recognized experts on US foreign policy, hear their views, and acquire unique insights into the foreign policy-making process. Outstanding participants in the emerging leaders programs will be considered for membership in the Pacific Forum Young Leaders Program.
The Hawaii Asia-Pacific Affairs Leadership Program
The Hawaii Asia-Pacific Affairs Leadership Program is Pacific Forum's initiative designed to engage Honolulu-based undergraduates, graduate students, and young professionals in Asia-Pacific international afairs. Program participants will have the opportunity to meet and learn from emerging and senior regional experts. This interactive program will help the next generation of Hawaii's business, government, and community leaders develop a solid knowledge base of the major political, economic, and security issues in the Asia Pacific and to think critically and strategically about Hawaii's role in the region. Applications are now being accepted for the 2013-2014 cohort. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The Korea Emerging Leaders Program
The Pacific Forum CSIS provides an exclusive group of up-and-coming 18-24 year olds the opportunity to learn first hand about foreign affairs through participation in seminars and conferences that are normally limited to international experts. The program will help to educate and train the next generation of business leaders in the Republic of Korea by alerting them to the broader political, security, and economic issues that shape the business environment. Email email@example.com for more information.
