Africa Notes: Sudan's Energy Sector: Implementing the Wealth - Sharing Agreement - August 2004

On June 5, 2004, the government of Sudan and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A) signed a framework peace agreement in Naivasha, Kenya, endorsing final principles for ending a 21-year civil war that has taken 2 million lives.
