The CSIS HIV/AIDS Task Force Delegation to Vietnam

The CSIS Task Force on HIV/AIDS has recently issued its final report from an expert mission to Vietnam focused on the HIV/AIDS situation and response. The delegation took place in January 2006.

The delegation interim report was unveiled in April on Capitol Hill. The event, co-sponsored by Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN) and Senator John Kerry (D-MA), included remarks by Dr. John Hamre, president and CEO, CSIS, along with comments from Peter Piot, executive director of UNAIDS, and the Honorable Tommy G. Thompson.
