    Although the US-China Summit was considerately rescheduled because of Hurricane Katrina, many issues still lie ahead for the two leaders. While there are many traditional issues on the agenda such as international health, energy and the environment, some time should be assigned to address the emergence of China on the global front and how that will influence regional and global affairs that should be addressed at length by the two leaders.
