HSEI's Asia Trip in November 2007

The Human Space Exploration Initiative (HSEI) at the Center for Strategic And International Studies (CSIS) has recently completed a quick tour of two of the main Asian space-faring powers: China and Japan to assess their current status and perspectives about human space exploration. Meetings took place in Beijing, and Tokyo with government bodies, space agencies, industry and non-profit organizations. The newsletter is a brief synopsis of our findings regarding the Chinese and Japanese space programs.
