GLOBAL RELATIONS | ROK-UK Summit
On November 16, President Park Geun-hye met with Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit and discussed how to expand substantive bilateral cooperation, the regional situation, and global issues including terrorism. The two agreed to cooperate on peacekeeping operations in Africa and enhance bilateral cooperative relations established during the efforts to contain the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone.

First ROK-Iceland Summit

On November 9, President Park Geun-hye and a bilateral summit with President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, the first since the two countries began diplomatic relations in 1962. The two agreed to strengthen cooperation on the Arctic region.

President Park Expresses Condolences to France
On November 14, President Park Geun-hye sent a telegram of condolence to President François Hollande of France for the terrorist attack in Paris. President Park also ordered the cabinet to make assurance that the Korean people are safe both at home and abroad from terrorist attack.
