    On September 7, the Office of the Chief of Staff hosted a Strategy Hour discussion on the 5th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.  Julianne Smith, ISP deputy director and senior fellow, and Tom Sanderson, TNT deputy director and fellow, discussed the achievements and continuing challenges of the U.S-led global war on terror.  In the days following the discussion, Ms. Smith and Mr. Sanderson published an opinion piece electronically on washingtonpost.com's Think Tank Town, on September 11, 2006.  This an updated version of the original article.
