Indigenous Politics in the Andean Region: Present State and Future Outlook

Indigenous populations in the Andean region of Latin America have played an increasingly larger role in national and local politics in the past two decades, but that role may be changing. On December 1, the Americas Program of CSIS will host a conference examining indigenous politics in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia and drawing conclusions on a regional basis.
