Daniel J. Porter

Daniel J. Porter graduated with honors from Kent State University in political science and public communications. While at Kent State, he worked as a research assistant to associate professor and department chair Steven W. Hook focusing on energy and environmental policy, and he is credited in the second edition of U.S. Foreign Policy: the Paradox of World Power (CQ Press, 2007). He interned at CSIS through the Washington Program in National Issues (WPNI). At CSIS, Daniel has worked with the President’s Office, External Relations, and Next America on various projects since January 2008. He currently handles Web and communication technologies for the Global Health Policy Center.
