Don C. Morton
Don C. Morton is the staff writer in the Office of External Relations and serves on the editorial board of New Perspectives in Foreign Policy, a journal written by and for the enrichment of young professionals. Prior to joining CSIS, Mr. Morton worked at West Wing Writers, a boutique speechwriting and strategic communications firm; as a graduate fellow in the State Department’s Office of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Textile Trade Affairs; and as staff assistant/office manager to Representative Chris Van Hollen (D-MD).
Mr. Morton holds a master’s degree in international trade law and finance from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College, where he graduated magna cum laude with honors in economics. He also studied at the K. Robert Nilsson Center for European Studies in Bologna, Italy.
