Donna Spitler Fields

Donna Spitler Fields is managing editor of the Washington Papers, the CSIS series published jointly with Praeger Publishers. Before joining The CSIS Press, she served as staff editor for many years at the American Enterprise Institute, where, for a time, she also was production editor for AEI’s Regulation magazine. She has been an editorial consultant to several organizations, including the World Bank. Ms. Spitler received a B.A. in philosophy from Bridgewater College, pursued graduate studies in education at the University of Virginia, and held teaching positions. She is a church musician who has studied pipe organ, voice, and composition.
