Eric Palomaa
Eric Palomaa is manager for corporate relations in the CSIS Office of Strategic Planning, where he directs day-to-day relationships with corporate partners and works with various CSIS programs in their corporate outreach and fundraising efforts. Mr. Palomaa previously interned in the CSIS International Security Program, focusing on regional and demographic trends in Eurasia, and is a contributing author to Turkey's Evolving Dynamics: Strategic Choices for U.S.-Turkey Relations (CSIS, March 2009). Prior to rejoining CSIS in 2011, he worked at the University of Chicago/Argonne National Laboratory Computation Institute, where he analyzed political, economic, and security implications for the shifting geopolitical landscape of Turkey, the Caucasus, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Mr. Palomaa holds an M.A. in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in history and international studies from Trinity University (TX).
