Leigh E. Hendrix

  • Leigh Hendrix is a research associate with the CSIS Energy and National Security Program, where she provides research and analysis on a range of domestic and international energy issues. Her areas of focus include traditional fuels, energy markets, strategic minerals, and technology transfer and innovation policy. Her regional focus is primarily on Russia, Eurasia, and the Caucasus/Caspian, with a secondary focus on Latin America. Prior to joining CSIS, she worked on numerous energy- and military-related projects in the office of Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN). Ms. Hendrix received her M.A. in international relations (energy, resources, and the environment) from the School of Advanced International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University and holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Wittenberg University.
