Marie-Laure Poiré

  • Marie-Laure Poiré is program manager for Women In International Security (WIIS). In that role, she is responsible for developing and maintaining communication with WIIS members and partners in the United States and throughout the world and for identifying potential partners with which to collaborate on diverse programs and activities. Prior to joining WIIS, she was deputy director of the Center on Politics and Foreign Relations and managing editor of Transatlantic Magazine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Ms. Poiré has worked in the Press and Communication Office of the Embassy of France. She was also an intern with Europe Magazine, a former publication of the Delegation of the European Commission in Washington, D.C. Ms. Poiré holds a B.A. in international relations from ESTRI (Lyon, France) and a M.A. in security studies from Georgetown University.
