Terrence Smith

Terrence Smith is program coordinator and research assistant with the William E. Simon Chair in Political Economy at CSIS, where he assists with projects on global growth and economic governance, with a particular focus on the dynamic Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining the Simon Chair, he was program coordinator for the CSIS New Defense Approaches Project, where he worked on a range of U.S. defense and national security policy issues. He also manages logistics for the CSIS Military Strategy Forum and the Military Fellows Program. Mr. Smith previously interned with the CSIS South Asia Program and blogged for the Project on Nuclear Issues. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a B.A. in psychology.
