Project Support

1800 K St NW
Opportunities to support specific projects are available to corporations, foundations, and individual donors.

Periodically, opportunities arise for corporations or individuals to participate directly in sponsoring a special study, event, or speaker series by way of added financial support. In these cases, a corporation’s CEO, senior executive, or an individual donor will be invited to join the project steering committee and participate in the working groups that help develop the scope of the project.

Examples of highly-regarded projects that receive targeted support include:

Military Strategy Forum

Sponsored by Rolls-Royce North America, the Military Strategy Forum hosts senior Department of Defense and military service leaders who present their insights and vision on the direction of U.S. national security and defense policy in on-the-record discussions. These events attract an audience of select Washington-area senior officials and officers, corporate executives, defense journalists, the media, and expert analysts.

CSIS-Schieffer School Series

The CSIS-Schieffer School Dialogues are a monthly series of discussions held at CSIS and hosted by Bob Schieffer, the chief Washington correspondent for CBS News and the anchor for the network’s Sunday morning show, Face the Nation. Sponsored by United Technologies, the series is a partnership between CSIS and The Schieffer School of Journalism at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. The school is named after Schieffer, who is an alumnus.
