2008 PONI Spring Conference - U.S. Naval Academy

The 2008 PONI Conference Series got underway on April 3 – 4 at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. The two-day conference featured nine selected presentations and panel discussions on three topical areas: nuclear forensics, U.S. nuclear posture and infrastructure; and proliferation and disarmament challenges. Day one of the conference also featured a small group breakout session for attendees to identify, discuss and prioritize nuclear issues facing the next administration. Group findings were reported and explored in greater depth during a very spirited and productive plenary session on day two. PONI would like to thank all conference participants, presenters, and panel and breakout session moderators. PONI would also like to thank the U.S. Naval Academy for hosting the event.
