The Future of Undersea Special Operations

CSIS hosted CAPT Schweizer as he delivered a basic overview of 21st century undersea special operations. He also discussed the current and future capabilities of special operations in the challenging environment of the maritime realm.

CAPT Schweizer currently serves as the Commodore at Naval Special Warfare Group Three where he is the undersea clandestine operations proponent for both Naval Special Warfare and U.S. Special Operations Command. He has served for over 20 years in the SEAL Teams and has held a number of leadership positions at east coast and west coast-based Teams as well as within the Interagency.
