This international public conference, co-hosted by CSIS and the Korea Foundation, with senior opinion makers, policy makers, and officials framed the agenda for U.S.-ROK relations going forward in advance of the visit by President Park Geun-hye to the United States.

The distinguished panels examined the broadening scope of U.S.-ROK cooperation around the globe as well as the challenges on the peninsula and in the region with an unprecedented gathering of experts.

The CSIS Korea Chair celebrates the summit meeting of ROK president Park Geun-hye and U.S. president Barack Obama with a series of events in June 2015, titled "Korea Going Forward."  Each of these events, involving policymakers, experts, and opinionleaders, help to elevate the level of informed public discussion about U.S.-ROK relations in advance of the meeting of the two presidents.
