Partnerships for Family Planning in Senegal: Lessons for U.S. Policy

April 27, 2015 • 1:30 – 5:30 pm EDT

Please join us for a conference to examine U.S. policy options to advance family planning and women's health in Senegal. This event will focus on Senegal’s innovative approaches and strategic partnerships to expand access to family planning, and the complexities of overcoming barriers to further progress. As a key player in an increasingly volatile region, Senegal’s efforts to achieve results in family planning provide lessons for other countries, especially in francophone West Africa. Expert panelists will discuss the opportunities and challenges in scaling up and sustaining family planning programs in Senegal and implications for the subregion.

The event will feature a CSIS video on family planning in Senegal.
