The ongoing political crisis in Venezuela continues to expose countless allegations of human rights violations by the Venezuelan government. The state of human rights in the country appears to be deteriorating amidst reports of increasing media censorship as well as widespread violence against civilian protestors - many of them university students. Join the Americas Program for a timely discussion on this issue with members of the Venezuelan political and human rights community.

Please note that this event will be conducted primarily in Spanish. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

Open to the public; however, seating is limited. To RSVP, send name and affiliation to the Americas Program at americas@csis.org.
