Roderick M. Hills
Roderick M. Hills is partner of Hills Stern & Morley LLP and the founder and Chairman of the Hills Program on Governance at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (“CSIS”) with Governance Centers at leading academic institutions in Asia, Latin America and Africa.
He served as Counsel to President Ford and as Chairman of the Securities & Exchange Commission (1975-1977).
Mr. Hills is a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development (1977- ) and its Co-Chairman (2005-2008). He was a founder, former Chairman and currently the Vice-Chairman of the US-ASEAN Business Council. Mr. Hills has been a Visiting Professor at the Schools of Law and Business of Harvard University, a Distinguished Faculty Fellow at the Yale School of Organization and Management and a lecturer at the School of Law of Stanford University. Following his graduation from the Stanford Law School he served as a law clerk to Justice Reed of the United States Supreme Court.
