2026 CSIS-CSDS Transatlantic Dialogue on the Indo-Pacific

May 26, 2026 • 2:00 – 3:00 pm EDT

Brought to you by

The global security environment continues to deteriorate with simultaneous conflicts in Europe and the Middle East complicating U.S. efforts to deter aggression in the Indo-Pacific. How are U.S. allies and partners navigating this increasingly unpredictable environment? What are the prospects for enhancing coordination with each other and the United States to manage security challenges in multiple theaters? To what extent will trade friction affect transatlantic and transpacific ties?

CSIS and the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS) at the Brussels School of Governance (BSoG) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) have been co-organizing the Transatlantic Dialogue on the Indo-Pacific since 2020. Please join us at CSIS for the 6th iteration of the Dialogue where experts will explore how America's European and Indo-Pacific allies will navigate the evolving geopolitical landscape in 2026.

This event is made possible by general support to CSIS.
